HGV Class 1 Night

JL Group is recruiting for a large distribution company in Milton Keynes.

Temporary to Permanent after 4 weeks.

We are looking for Drivers who:

• Hold a valid Driving License (Category C+E)

• Hold a Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signage

• Work safely within the Health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work

• Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach

• Work within all legal parameters of drivers hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements

The Driver will:

• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to us

• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues

• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code

• Maintain all health and safety standards
• Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy

Compensation: £35,000 + £80 a month night allowance.
Hours: 45 Hours Per Week
Overtime: Overtime paid at 1.25 and 1.5 depending on hours completed.
